In the summer of 2021 my sisters, daughter and I went tenting in Lac La Biche, AB.
I had an RV mat that I got from Soledoc in Vernon so I took it along just in case I might need it. After setting up our tents, I placed the RV mat between both tents in case it rained, and that night it did rain. The mat was a real saver from the muddy ground. Because of the RV mat’s slightly open weave, the rain didn’t just sit in puddles on top as it does with tarps. Upon packing up, I was able to just wipe it clean with a damp towel. Another added bonus is that it is super lightweight and packs up very small. I would recommend this mat as a must for tenting and RVing. I have a larger one (8’x18’) for our motorhome. My smaller mat lives in the car now as it is also very handy to sit on, along a river (or anywhere else for that matter) to enjoy a picnic. It would be great to place on your lawn for babies and children to play on as it will not kill grass.
